Trident summer coaching sessions review

The Trident Summer Soccer Program, organised by the Kids Initiative, has proved to be a huge success after five weeks of free football events were staged across the BCP area during the summer holidays. The program comprised of a variety of full day camps, three-hour mini camps and hour long sessions held at venues in Poole, Winton and Christchurch. The popularity of some of the events saw the Kids Initiative increase the attendance capacity by 50% to meet demand.

Young carers from across Dorset, children eligible for free school meals and kids from the Somerford Youth Centre all benefitted to free places at the all day camps whilst all children were eligible to attend the mini camps and hour long sessions. In total over 1,000 free places were provided for local children to enjoy some football fun and good exercise. All this was privately funded through our sponsors to whom we are extremely grateful.
