BCP Youth Fund Grant Success

We are delighted to announce that in the last year, the Kids Initiative recieved an incredible £3,900 from the BCP Youth Council Grant!

This is a rather unique grant on the basis that we had to present our cause at the Town Hall in Bournemouth to a panel of under 18’s, ensuring that this grant is for children, and the outcomes are also decided for by children.

Adults do remain present during proceedings, but it is solely the children who decide the projects and causes that will go ahead.

This support essentially funds a whole year’s worth of coaching for one coach to go into schools and provide intervention sessions for football, also increasing our outreach to another three schools because of this fantastic grant.

Without this type of financial support, we certainly wouldn’t be where we are today so a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey.
