A busy start to 2025 for the Kids Initiative

The Kids Initiative has had a busy start to the new year! As well as continuing our usual sessions, we have been able to add some more in-school sessions to the schedule.
Each week we now cover Hillbourne Primary School, Oakdale Junior school, Poole High School and St Aldhelm’s Academy.
These in school sessions offer a small respite to children who may be struggling with school life for a variety of reasons.
Whether it is:
Encouraging girls to become more involved in football
Providing a challenging but judgement free zone for those struggling with self-esteem
A behaviour based reward system to allow children who struggle emotionally to adjust their outlook and gain access to the sessions.
The KI is proud to be covering all of these and more.
If we can even make a small difference to some children’s lives in the local area, then that is job done!
The feedback so far has been amazing and our reputation is growing daily!
